Dear God/ess, One of our frequent Prayer Blog visitors, dear Heidi, is getting married to Greg today. She is my niece. I am with her in spirit. We wish she and Greg the greatest life together, full of joy and great abundance.

I am still in a meditative state after the Crystalline Grid call last night. It was a real blessing to hear that some major force is now activated, the Crystalline Grid itself, and this emboldens Love and Loving thoughts and facilitates loving states in more effortless ways. Love is God and God is Love.Love was the gospel of Jesus and all of the saints of every religion. Love is Universal truth.

Len Laskow is a bearer of Love. I can hardly wait to tell him about the Crystalline Grid. He may already know about it. We will all plug into it at our "Opening to Oneness Through Love" workshop 8/13-15/2010, at the Blue Heron Farm Spiritual Retreat Center!

It's almost as if this grid is a place where we ground the energy of love which is spreading now in the sphere of human consciousness. Love, when grounded, can then align and center itself, herself into our etheric bodies, where there is no separation. The activated Crystalline Grid is an energy that no one can ignore. It is a massive life force, and the only choice is to go with the energy. Working against this energy is a self-destructive act.

I imagine a non-physical energy that more and more people will be feeling, in states of compassion and empathy. More and more, desires for solitude will be yearned for instead of feared.

More and more, creative states will be ignited and amazing art forms will spring from the imagination to the canvas, or from the musical instrument, or to the blank white page.

These are the breath of God/ess.

Dear God/ess, We need to start a "Rose Colored Glass Revolution", and as we do so, we become better and better at seeking and finding the good in all people, in ourselves, in God/ess, in the Angels and the Saints of all religions.

We seek and find the heroic nature in all of God/esses creatures.

We seek and find the heroic nature in ourselves.

We discover that God is Good, and does not seek to make anyone suffer for mistakes or loveless deeds.

All that sin is, after all, is "Missing the Mark," an archers term, and that mark is Love.

I know from experience that when people act thoughtlessly and without compassion, that they are crying for help themselves. Send them a prayer and strive to be more loving yourself.

Loveless perception is hurtful and senseless. Let us strive to bring Love into our hearts at all times.

Loveless perception is a difficult state of mind to operate out of. More than anything, all anyone wants is to be loved. All you want is to be loved. So let us practice being Loving.

The Crystalline Grid Call just ended and I surprise myself by writing exactly what was reflected on the call between Amy's Collective and Larry's 12 that they both channel, respectively.  The Crystalline Grid is a Loving Field, as I think of it, that is there for us to plug into. It is activated now, whereas before, it was in a dormant state. The call infused all of us there with nothing but Love Love Love! Love is the only reality in the Universe. And synchronistically, the message of "Opening To The Oneness Through Love" is what Len Laskow will be expressing 8/13-15/2010 when the Blue Heron Farm Spiritual Retreat has its grand opening.

We are all expressing our own language of Love, and the Crystalline Grid is magnetizing our experience of Love.

The "Rose Colored Glass Revolution" allows the flow of love be the perception we choose the rest of this lifetime, and beyond. Love is who we are.

Love is what everything is.

Dear God/ess, I was inspired tonight to once and for all, turn off cable TV, and cancel it. I can get anything newsworthy on the Internet. Or the Good News Gazette.

Sumaiya Malik was on our MoonMooYou radio show last night, creator of the Good News Gazette. She, too, is a news junky who awoke one day to realize that the news as we know it causes a kind of depression and angst on our psyche.

She senses the news as a form of energy that causes despair on the mind, body and soul. Thus the Good News Gazette was born and went live at the end of 2009.

At this time, Sumaiya and her significant other browse the Internet about four hours a night to find the good news. What I foresee happening is people experiencing original insights about local news items will contribute these to the GNG. Someday it will be entirely written with original stories, published first in the GNG, with one million plus subscribers.

When this happens, we will know that good news is winning over the chaos and crazy making of the mainstream, 24 hour news cycle.

When this happens, we will know that the thirst for enlightened discourse and discussion is winning  over the mind numbing, addictive sensationalism of empty story lines.

We are all guilty of buying into this hypnotic negativity. Often people will take a news fast and when returning to the news find that soon, another news fast is necessary.

One man I know took a one year vow of silence and unplugged from technology throughout this entire time. Upon returning to the world, he noticed that the news stories were exactly the same in tone and vibration as the year before. No change. No interruption. Just Mind Numbness.

One day soon, this will change because of the good work Sumaiya is doing to change the collective negative world view. She is changing perception of what is important in the world: that people are good and individuals matter.

Dear God/ess, In yesterday's prayer, I mentioned the Good News Gazette, whose creator, Sumaiya Malik, will join us tonight on MoonMooYou: The Collective Wisdom.

The Good News Gazette has as its mission to bring us "stories that highlight the positive,  inspiring and warming, that help us feel good while reading the news. Happiness is contagious, and we're here to spread it."

Tney call themselves, "The Good News Revolution," with stories in many categories including Animals, Business, Environment, Health, Human Interest, Sci/Tech, Sports, U.S, Video and the World.

I get my copy of the Good news Gazette every Sunday night, early Monday morning, and savor every word.

I've been a media news junky for most of my adult life, and was raised on the evening news. In fact, my parents watched the news while eating their evening meal. I remember the Buddhist rebellion against the Vietnam War when the Monk set himself on fire in protest, with my fork in mid-air.

Ever after we called the News, the Blues, and that informing moment made it clear that eating and watching TV was a huge jolt on the etheric body.

The Good News Gazette is a wonderful alternative to fill the cable driven news void whose main style of reporting is to use sound bites in an attempt  to minimize  what is really happening.

But what IS really happening? We may never know, nor do we wish to know, if we desire to preserve our sanity.

Thank you, Sumaiya Malik, for bring alternative news to lives that starve for the good that humans are capable of.

Dear God/ess, I was recently drawn to the book: "Merv: Making the Good Life Last."

Aside from the fact that Merv Griffin was a business genius, as one of my Second Life friends recently pointed out, I was struck by how Merv lived his life from a level of pure gut instinct.

My mother loved Merv and watched his show every day. In a sense, I was raised with Merv, Dick Cavett and David Frost.

But Merv and Cavett were her favorites.

I also bought Shirley MacLaine's latest book at the same time I bought Merv's book called: "Saging While Aging."

And was also led to spontaneously order glossy business cards and had a strong inspiration to place an angel on them.

These three events, buying Merv and Shirley's books plus creating  these cards and ordering 1000 of them, all at the same time, seemed to be separate acts, having no relationship to the other.

Yet I was experiencing doubt and overwhelm in the New Year. Previously, in the months leading to the end of 2009, I awoke every day and did what I was spontaneously led to do, with a loose weekly to do list that included article and blog writing, creating e-books and new blogs, keeping close to my intuitive hunches and ideas about future product production.

All of this was flowing well until the New Year hit. I suddenly felt a sense of aimlessness and doubt as to my business building strategies, which basically do not exist in any traditional, goal-planning model that most business guru's recommend.

Besides thoroughly enjoying Merv's book, I came across a provocative statement that reinforced my approach to life: "No two days are alike. Just like when I did my show, I get to improvise my life. One day I may get up and say, "I wonder how my race horses are doing?" then I'll go down to the stable and work with the horses for a few hours. The next day, I might think, "How's that marketing plan coming for the hotels?" And I'll get my staff together by phone and start working on that.

"I call it 'Planned Spontaneity.' "

Reading this paragraph brought me great relief. I saw it as a message from the Universe that my planned spontaneity has been working and I would now continue doing exactly what I am doing, with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and joy.

Shirley's book has a chapter devoted to synchronicity or meaningful coincidence. After reading the following paragraph, I saw the connection between Merv and Shirley's book and the purchase of my angel business cards.

"People who continually experience meaningful coincidence and acknowledge them believe that synchronicity in all its forms is a kind of personal guidance--a kind of God-like direction that takes us into the future, and if we choose to follow the guidance, our personal destinies evolve and become clear. Joesph Campbell defined it as "following our truth" regardless of the consequences, making for ourselves the authentic life, then living the hero's journey according to our own values, which share little or nothing with popular values. If we follow our bliss, as Joesph Campbell said, we will be doing what we feel most inwardly qualified and inclined to do, regardless of social and material consequences."

As long as I experience joy and flow and fun with my everyday business and writing pursuits, and stay as far away from what the media or "popular value" tells me to do, I will be happy, as I am now.

As far as the business cards go, instead of asking a fellow traveler if she wants one of my business cards, I instead ask: "Do you want an angel blessing?"

And the beautiful card is my gift to them.

So between Merv's insight about "planned spontaneity" and Shirley's insights about synchronicity, and the beautiful angel blessings, I feel as if I am on the right path.

Another fellow being who follows her truth is  Sumaiya Malak who publishes "The Good News Gazette." She believes the good news must be available to those of us who have come to the end of handling the violence and chaos of the mainstream news. She will be on MoonMooYou: The Collective Wisdom 7/27/10.

We trudge the road of Happy Destiny together and allow our five senses awaken and notice all that is good in this life--and beyond.

Dear God/ess, Our hospital is getting a computerized charting system in place next year. Our hospital is part of a system of health care facilities. And the entire health care system is going live with this one central system in 4/11.

I already witnessed the advent of electronic charting in our workplace about three years ago and was gratified to learn for once and for all how closing the mind and opening the mind yield two entirely different results.

The name of that system was I-Prob. The one that's coming up is called Epic.

I view the IPROB computer system as a fragment of myself.

Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian healing technique that nurses need to learn in order to survive as a thriving, active and beautiful healing component of the health care system.

Using computers and other advanced technological machines in our work tends to make a nurse feel separate from her patients.

The strange temptation arises to gaze at the computer whenever I am in the middle of charting something. When my patient speaks, I glance her way, glance back at the computer; glance at her, glance back at the computer, like some sort of multi-tasking geek.

The reality is, that these technological advances can free us up to be a healing presence for our patients.

But until I feel at peace with the machine, I can never feel at peace with anyone or anything else.

A mind divided cannot be in harmony, which is what our patients want from us: a well balanced and harmonious, happy healing presence, taking good care of her and making her feel good about being in the hospital to begin with.

As soon as we come to see the IPROB or Epic machine as ultimately meaning nothing, and that we make up our meaning about it and about everything else, then an awakening occurs.

What I think about the IPROB or Epic machine is a reflection of my mind, is not a truth or even a fact about it.

When I view IPROB or Epic as a problem, I am interpreting, remembering, comparing and judging any memory I have about this and all similar memories, certainly not living in the present moment.

Imagine two exact same scenarios experienced by two different people: One nurse decides that she loves the computerized system. Consequently, she is efficient, moves patients through the system quicker, spends more time with her patients, and barely has any problems or glitches in the system.

Another nurse decides that she hates the new system. The computer continually loses her entries, freezes up and shuts down.

I am somewhere in the middle, hating it and loving it, trying to make philosophical sense of it, with varying degrees of success and failure.

The mind creates the stress and fear, the balance and well- being in these examples.

So where does the practice of Ho'oponopono fit into my perception of what I see as a problem with electronic charting, with nurses leaving the profession, with the nursing shortage, and with my own feelings of powerlessness regarding all of it?

Firstly, Ho'oponopono teaches that problems and situations do not exist outside of me, (or you), as we perceive them.

Perceptions are reflections of our thoughts.

If I perceive an outer manifestation as a problem, then I have the opportunity to recognize that I am 100% responsible for creating it, thus having 100% responsibility for erasing and cleaning the problem and all my judgments and criticisms about the problem.

The perceived problems is simply a shared memory that we all have in common, back to the beginning of humanity.

We clean and erase these problems by inwardly and incessantly chanting: I love you, Thank you, I am sorry (for my part in creating this problem), Please Forgive me (for my part in creating this problem).

We inwardly and incessantly chant even before perceiving the problem.

I feel relief by this practice because if I am 100% responsible for creating all aspects of my life, and if all of it without exception is an inside job, then I can work on it within myself without depending on anything or anyone else.

At the same time, the phrases I love you, Thank you, I am sorry, Please forgive me are directed to my higher power, divinity, the angels, God/ess.

We let the unseen forces solve all "problems" as we chant our phrases.

Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian healing technique that nurses can use to save themselves, save our profession.

This is a spiritual practice that in its simplicity, fits well into modern life. It applies to every single problem our world is having at this time: violence in our schools, homes and communities, drug and alcohol addiction, deep depression and sadness, suffering of all kinds.

None of it is "out there."

If I see it, it's mine.

My responsibility is to take 100% responsibility, to stop the blaming, stop the finger pointing.

Bless Ho'oponopono: Bless all the spiritual practices that bring us peace.

Om Peace Amen
