31 Days of Gratitude
Gratitude is healing. Why? Because it trains our brains to focus on abundance, on what we have, on our blessings. Gratitude is a practice that enables us to recognize more opportunities to receive good because our minds are on that wavelength. When we focus on what we don’t have and give into that feeling of loss, it can spiral into focusing on all the losses you’ve experienced in your life which is like focusing on the peel of a fruit you’re about to throw away instead of recognizing all the nutrition it gave you.
Think of all negative experiences you’ve had like skins of fruit or vegetables – throw away the thick, dirty outer core and digest all that is good, healthy and nutritious at the inner core. These are the lessons, the wisdom, the ah-ha moments that allow your soul to rise to higher levels of awareness. These higher levels of consciousness help you shift patterns that have been causing you stress or holding you back.
When you see that inner core of your life, you’ll feel a rush of gratitude. Gratitude for the little things such as the simple truth of your breath and the sky above and ground below. To the bigger things like having someone in your life who really cares, and opportunities to make a difference.
To celebrate to practice of gratitude, and unite people on this high vibration, I’m posting 31 Days of Gratitude on my Facebook page. Every day I’ll post something I’m grateful for, and I encourage you to join me.
Gratitude opens the heart and lets more love in. Gratitude is the cousin of forgiveness. It’s the secret to success, and recognizing the success you have right now in your life. Gratitude is an invitation to the universe to send you more to be grateful for, and the recognition of opportunities as they come to you.
