What No Longer Serves You
For weeks now I have been struggling to keep up with this blog. My posts as of lately have felt forced. Blog topics are not dancing in my brain anymore. I had one night where I forgot to post all together and other evenings where I hated what I’d written but scheduled anyway. If stats are to blogs what ratings are to TV programs, my lack of enthusiasm is reaching you as well. In all honesty the stats resemble what they did in my very first month of blogging.
I’ll never forget the first time I heard the phrase “let go of what no longer serves you.” It was a click moment for me. This blog was created as a place for me to express myself, reflect on my spiritual journey, and put my words out into the world. It has been an exciting ride but now feels like a good time to climb off (at least for awhile).
My creative energy is moving in different directions now. As I’ve said before, I’m not a good multi-tasker. I want to finish writing my novel. I want to be a great Uniteens leader. I want to be a strong voice for Owning Pink.
Thank you all for being a wonderful, respectful audience. I’m not sure at this point if this is a permanent goodbye or not. I may come back here after the dust settles or I may create a new space. I will leave the Facebook page going and will update that with my Owning Pink and LOVEolution blog posts as well as anything else I should happen to get out there in cyberspace. For those of you who use the blog as a way to keep up with my life, I hope you’ll continue to keep up by emailing, Facebook messaging, or calling me.
