@Office
Being a professional in a big company can seem such a stressful journey through humdrum. But Love reaches all corners and cubicles. It is up to you to recognize it and seize the amazing opportunity of working for Love, with Love and because of Love.Meeting request (II)
After taking some days off from writing for the series @Office, I received another meeting request in my inbox from my boss at work. This time I enjoyed it so much, loving every corner of the room, laughing, tweeting and admiring the view. This time I felt lucky, peaceful… proud.
I never thought I would feel like floating while in a meeting. But it happened. The team gathered this past week to talk about the work we had done, the current status of on-going projects and our plans for the months to come. It sounds like so much information and such a time-consuming activity to be held at 8:00 am on a Monday.
But this time was so much fun and beautiful. The meeting room was at the 55th floor and from the window you can practically see the entire city, waking up and feeling the first touch of the sunrays. Looking into the magnificent, never-ending sky, one could not help feeling so mighty, and at the same time so tiny before the greatness of the world.
We all have our multi-slide presentation with words like “can”, “will”, “future”. All powerful words. Yet, the overwhelming background is some kind of reminder of the essence of now, the need to focus on today, the wonderfulness of the present. It is also a reminder of the concept of job as something you must enjoy. Working to live, and not living to work. Stressful times require this kind of reminders.
I’ve always been amazed, of my window view 35 floors above, as well as of the gigantic structure that rises in front of my eyes when I’m driving to work. Almost every day I try to calculate which floor I am. When I do get to count all the way up to the 35th floor, I can see my other self typing in the computer, stretching, yawning, running, talking on the phone, yelling and just smiling.
The whole process of my day is an ever-going roller coaster. Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down. With so many beautiful little moments that sometimes, just sometimes, I forget why I’m doing what I’m doing. Then, when meetings like this happen and I get to see out windows like this, I know: I’m doing what I’m doing because it makes me feel very proud of myself.
Make my heart reach the sky with your comments and opinions in the section below.

Thank you for sharing this experience. I will apply it in everything I do, because I have realized that the way we see the things we do makes the difference. God bless you
