Fickle is Fine

We are fickle. We change our views on fashion, our love for celebrities and our newest technology”must have’s” like we change our underwear. Right now as I start to write this, these are the hottest topics posted by the Alexa rankings.

When I complete this post the list will look different. What is it in the nature of human beings that always seeks better, newer, different or the latest? Some may say it is just our curious nature, competitive nature, creative nature or the human ego. I don’t have the answer–but I do know that being fickle may serve us in some circumstances.
It is okay to change your mind– and then change it again. We should always adjust our choices, beliefs, impressions and goals as we travel through life. This dynamic way of living allows for greater skill in navigating our lives authentically and not putting the ego in the driver’s seat. It will allow us to courageously end a toxic relationship, start that business, abandon a goal that no longer excites us, move to a new city or admit our body needs some sort of nurturing or attention.
So, let yourself be a little fickle without judgment.
All the best!
