Mission: Six-pack Abs
An experiment to find out if getting those sexy six-pack abs like you always see on guys in commercials will improve my quality of lifeMission: Six-pack Abs – Day 9
Breakfast:
Oat bran w/
-1/2 scoop whey protein powder
-coconut oil
-dates
-agave nectar
Lunch:
low carb wrap w/
-Gimme Lean soy sausage patties
-cheese
-mayo
-lettuce
-olives
Snack:
banana with peanut butter
Kombucha (1/3 bottle)
Dinner:
Grilled Stuft burrito (without meat) from Taco Bell
a few bites of an ice cream sandwich
Exercise:
45-minute weight workout with various ab exercises
Notes:
Things are going pretty well. However, I’m starting to realize that it is going to take a little more thought and planning before going to the grocery store, to make sure I have enough healthy foods on hand.
I’ve noticed after 9 days of documenting my diet that I’ve been eating an awful lot of cheese and faux meats. I’m a vegetarian and I’m also trying hard to get plenty of proteins and fats and not overload on carbs. I realize that cheese and soy-based “meats” aren’t the healthiest way to go, so I’m looking for some healthier options…
