Notes:
To be honest, it’s been more difficult than I thought it would be to avoid certain foods (like alcohol and sweets)…especially when I get to the end of the day and feel a little stressed.
This brings me to the subject of emotional eating, which is something that most people do, even though most people aren’t even aware of it. I actually took an online course called Shrink Yourself (formerly called Mastering Food) a couple years ago, and it helped me to lose about 35 pounds. I highly recommend it to anyone that is struggling with losing weight. Anyway, I think I might have to dig out my notes from that course to help me remember some of the strategies for avoiding emotional eating.
I’ll be on the road for the next 6 days, so it may be difficult to post updates every day, but I’ll try to post something every day, just to stay in the habit and to make sure I don’t lose any of the progress I’ve gained.
